Wine Storage: Drift, Vibration, Condensation
Wine storage is measured at bottle level, not off the panel, and that single habit settles most of these calls. A cabinet can report an ideal number all season while the space behind the glass sits several degrees over, because the sensor is reading a spot the air actually reaches. On a dual-zone unit the comparison does the diagnosis on its own: the zone that is behaving vouches for the cooling, and whatever has failed belongs to the drifting zone alone, its evaporator, its fan or its damper.

Usually not. Hollow, small or half-formed cubes mean the mold never filled, and everything responsible for that sits upstream of the freezer: filter age, the pressure arriving at the inlet valve, or scale narrowing the valve screen.
