Thermador
Thermador Appliance Repair in San Diego
Thermador burners generate service calls all by themselves. The Star burner spreads flame down its points instead of around a ring, and ExtraLow holds a very low heat by cycling the flame on and off rather than by burning steadily, so a burner that visibly pulses at the bottom of its range is doing precisely what it was built to do. Knowing which of those behaviors is normal is half of a Thermador diagnosis. The other half is separating a real fault from a control that is reporting one.
Induction is the one that gets misread most. A cooktop that shuts a zone down partway through cooking, refuses to see a pan, or throws its own error is usually reporting heat rather than failure: the electronics sit in a shallow tray under the glass and depend on a fan pulling air through a vent that the cabinetmaker occasionally closed off, and dust and pet hair finish what the cabinetry started. Cookware is the other half of it, since a pan that has warped away from flat, or one with too little steel in the base, will drop in and out of detection with nothing wrong with the appliance at all.

Reviews
Ice from the bar machine had gone small and hollow and I assumed the maker was finished. He measured what was actually reaching the valve before naming a part: scale in the screen, plus a filter well past its life. Nobody had told me the water here was that hard.

The wine cabinet is built into the dining room millwork and the lower shelves had been drifting warm since spring. He left a probe down among the bottles instead of trusting the panel, and it was the fan in that zone. He also chased down a hum I'd learned to ignore.

We're off the gas main out past Escondido and run on propane, and the Wolf has browned unevenly since the day it was installed. Everyone who looked at it before said that's just how it cooks. He checked the conversion instead, and it had never been finished properly.
