Wolf builds ranges, rangetops, wall ovens and cooktops and has never built anything that makes cold, so a Wolf call is always a cooking call. The most frequent one is a burner that clicks and will not light. If every burner on the top clicks together, the fault is usually a single burner: a cap seated a fraction out of position, or a spark electrode still wet from a boil-over, and the module is firing all of them because it cannot tell which one is asking. If only one clicks, look at that electrode and its lead.
Temperature is the other half of the Wolf workload and it is rarely what the owner assumes. An oven that browns long and slow while the display insists it is at temperature has a sensor reading high, and the control is obeying that sensor exactly as it was designed to. A probe goes in the cavity and records what the oven actually does across a full preheat and a hold, and only then does the choice get made between a calibration offset, a sensor and an element. Nobody should be shopping for a range over a reading that a resistance check settles in ten minutes.

We're off the gas main out past Escondido and run on propane, and the Wolf has browned unevenly since the day it was installed. Everyone who looked at it before said that's just how it cooks. He checked the conversion instead, and it had never been finished properly.

Water showed up at a floor seam several feet from the fridge. On slab it apparently travels sideways under the toe kick. It was the drain, and he poured water through afterwards to show it reaching the pan.

Long drive, gate and keypad out in Rancho Santa Fe, and they asked for the code and the model number when I booked rather than calling from the end of the driveway. The garage refrigerator was the dead one, and he pulled the grille on the Viking outside while he was here.
